Following researching Bravia TVs, I decided to go ahead with this one because it is one of the newer releases for 2011. I'm glad I waited, as this Television is clearer and far more vivid than those of some older models or rival brands. Picture top quality is clear with no fog or motion blur. PS3 games and Netflix look absolutely wonderful. The only issue this Television requirements now is a sound program to broaden the audio encounter. If you are getting sound issues, attempt messing around with the 'steady sound' and 'clear voice' selections to even items out and make them less muddy.
In shops you could see this TV's picture slightly much less vibrant than others, but that is given that of the built in light sensor that is located on the front of the frame. The picture automatically adjusts to best fit it is surroundings, and that is what's actually awesome. No fussing with brightness settings all the time.
Overall, worth every penny. Stick with Sony and you will not be disappointed.

This Sony LCD is 1 of the very best deals any individual is going to get. Like the other guy mentioned, I purchased mine directly from WalMart for $588! The image superior is outstanding. I have produced a handful of tweaks like lowering the brightness, to assist achieve deeper blacks. I will use a image calibrator later. The screen does have a slight glow at the top rated corners, but that is only visible through quite rare black-out scenes. I noticed it even though loading Blu-Rays, but as soon as the movie starts the screen is pretty vibrant! The sound quality is not all that refined. I do not have dollars for an Audio method or receiver so I will just have to fiddle with the settings like bass and treble till I locate the optimum tune. There are plenty of A/V connections, a plethora of choices in the menue to fool about with, and a wonderful remote. I have a PlayStation 3 hooked up by HDMI cable. That permits the technique remotes to manage devices, pretty cool! Go purchase a single!
